The Women's Commission is part of the Office of the Governor. Our mission is to improve the lives of Idaho women and their families.

Since 1965, the Idaho Women’s Commission has been working for women in all walks of life. Our goal is to encourage and motivate women to increase their participation in their community, the state and the nation.  The Commission engages in activities that encourage the development of strong families.

We operate under the philosophy that volunteer service is essential to the success of a society.  Through educational and informational efforts, we are committed in the use of fairness to achieve personal and professional equity.
